Featuring The Golden Celebration Sale from the SHANAEL herd, the property of Shanael Farms Ltd and comprising 60 quality animals from the very top of the 2012 Gold Cup winning herd - 15 young cows or calved heifers (all Ex or VG) and a dozen superbly bred young bulls of service age, with the remainder being youngsters, selected both on pedigree and exceptional type, including many superb individuals and potential show calves. The exciting Asset, Eroy and Golden families are all well represented by both females and bulls and all the pedigrees are out of the top drawer. Nearly all are by top class popular sires including Alexander, Artes, Bossman, Fever, Lauthority, Shamrock, Shottle, Sid, Sudan, Willrock and Windbrook. This is one of the premier sales of the year for breeders looking for outstanding milkers or future show or breeding prospects among the youngstock or for commercial farmers or breeders looking for a well-bred stock bull. Attendance is strongly recommended as there is also the opportunity to view this outstanding herd.

Special Payment Terms

Any buyer who pays 5,000 guineas or more for an individual animal or spends a total of 10,000 guineas or more at the sale will be entitled to the following payment terms on the individual over 5,000 guineas or a group realising 10,000 guineas or more:-

  • 50% of the bill to be settled on the day of sale (must be paid to qualify for terms)
  • The second payment (the remaining 50%) to be paid to the auctioneers no later than 1st September 2013

The animal(s) will be at the buyers risk from the fall of the hammer and full payment will be required by 1st September 2013 whatever the outcome of the animal(s). Insurance will be available through the auctioneers if required.

A brief contract will be produced on sale day at the time of settlement confirming payment terms with a schedule of the purchaser’s lots. This will be signed by the purchaser with copies for both the auctioneers and purchaser.
