The Shanael Golden Celebration Sale will take place on Friday May 31st in conjunction with the RABDF Open Day at the Miller family’s farm at Hinton-on-the Green, near Evesham, Worcestershire, home of the Gold Cup winning herd in the RADDF’s 2012 Gold Cup Competition.
60 head from the very top of this outstanding prizewinning herd will be on offer, comprising 15 young cows or freshly calved heifers, and a dozen superbly bred young bulls of service age, the remainder being youngsters, selected both on pedigree and exceptional type, including many exciting individuals and potential show calves.
The milkers are all classified Ex or VG, and include two VG 2yr daughters of the popular brood cow Morningview Shtl Asset by Sanchez and Alexander, together with their progeny by Artes, Bossman, Lauthority and Windbrook.
The members of the Golden family will be of special interest, featuring daughters of Shanael Bolton Golden ET (VG-89) by Sudan and Palermo and sisters by Windbrook. Shanael Jeeves Eroy, the VG-87 2yr daughter of Nova-TMJ Golden Echo from the famous UFM-Dubs family has a Windbrook daughter, a heifer and two bulls by Shamrock and two heifers and a bull by the outcross sire Willrock.
Other familiar Shanael families represented include Amanda, Barb, Jodie, Margo, Marie, Melody, Papoose, Peach, Rolls, Spottie and Tripoli.
Only the very best animals in the herd been selected for sale and there will be no better catalogue this year containing such great milking females, exciting heifer prospects for the future or a stock bull ready made for your herd. Make the most of this tremendous opportunity.
